What an Amazing week :)

Hello Everyone :)
So this past week i have been assigned in Bacolod 1st ward. It has been so fun to meet more people and to be in another ward. This week was a little weird being in a tri sum becuase its really hard to teach with three people but it has been really fun. I LOVE being back with sister moser. On thursday we had a member that wanted to work with us so the member went with sister cinco and me and sister moser taught together and it was so much fun! We couldnt believe that we were in the Philippines together teaching the gospel in Hiligaynon! haha we just kept thinking about how much we have progressed since teaching together at the MTC haha. So i had my 5 baptisms!! :) It was the most AMAZING thing ever!! they were all just so happy and greatful for the missionaries and the gospel in their lives. As they bore their testimonies i just cried because i know that i was sent to that area to help those 5 people get baptized, and that my work in the Sta. Fe area was over. I am so greatful i was able to go and to be a part of that special day!! So the read transfers aretomorrow but im not sure of im transferring or not, but you will find out next week. Also something really embarrasing happened to me this week... I was getting out of the jeepney and everyone gets out of the back there is like a little door thing without a door and there is a step and it was further down than i thought and i literally fell out of the jeepney and it was in the middle of the road and everyone in the jeepney jumped out to help me! hahah i was so embarrassed but i couldnt stop laughing! i have a bruise the size of a baseball on my butt but oh well! haha "everything is more fun in the Philippines!" I hope you all have a great week and remember that we are all missionaries!! I love you all :)
Love sister Leifson :)
P.S congrats to Jen for getting baptised!!! thats so exciting.:)

I HATE CHANGE

So this week was interesting... I knew that my companion Sister Ang would be going home today so i have been preparing to have a new companion and to lead my area. I had so many plans for my area and we have had so much progress this last week! yesterday we had the baptismal interviews for 5 baptisms on Feb 22 :) I was so excited to get my new companion and then we had a little surprise... I got a call from the assistants to the president and they said they were giving my area to the elders and that i was getting transferred. I literally cried because it was8:00pm and i didnt even get to say bye to any of my investigators! And i knew we had 5 baptisms on saturday and i wanted to go so bad! i was so sad! The assistants said i was getting transferred just to a different ward in my same Zone and District and guess who my companion is..? Sister Moser from the MTC haha and a Filipina i will be in a tri sum till the 26, that is when the real transfers is then i dont know where i will be going. But i recieved a tender mercy from the lord... President Lopez knew how much good we had done in our area and he knew we had weekly baptisms coming up and he texted me last night and said " sister Leifson i know how hard you have worked for those baptisms so i give you permission to attend their baptism on the 22 :) That never happens!!! I was so blessed :) i am so glad i will get to be there, I am excited to go to a new area but im a little nervous too but i am on the Lords time right now and i am willling to go where ever he needs me to. Thanks for all the support i have the best family ever!!

Hello Everyone :)

Hello everyone!
This week was good! We were suppose to have a baptism on Feb 15 for sister Lani but her husband wont let her... :( she just told us last night and i literally cried.. i love her so much and she is so ready but her husband is totally against it. But i have faith that the lord will prepare a way for her to be baptized. We are still going to teach her and she can still come to church she just cant get baptized yet. Keep her in your Prayers! We have 2 families prepared to get baptized on the 22 so hopefully everything works out with them. One of our families was suppose to be baptized onMarch 1 for my birthday but its stake conference so we cant :( we moved it to the 22 tho! The work is moving along really good! This is my last week with sister ang so next week i will have another new companion. Im pretty excited! yesterday i went on member splits and i was with a member who barly spoke any english so i had to speak all illongo but it was good! i had to teach everything but it was such a good experience. i was able to speak to them and understand the language so good! keep praying for me that i will have the gift of tongues! I love you all and hope you are all doing good! My testimony grows every single day! keep reading the Book of Mormon and you will be blessed!

Family Home Evening Group

Yes there was a storm but I'm alive..:)

Hello everyone!
This week was so  great, we have seen so many miracles. So when sister Ang got here our area had no progressing investigators and we had no investigators coming to church which is really bad! but in the last 4 weeks we have been working our butts off trying to establish our area and as ofyesterday we have 13 progressing investigators and 13 investigators at church yesterday!! it was so amazing :) Sister Lani is ready for her baptism on Feb 15 and we have weekly baptisms scheduled until March 29! We have a family of 4 that is scheduled for my birthday! thats the best birthday present i could ask for :) The Philippines is seriously growing so much in the Church. Our Mission President has a mission vision for all of us and it is that each companionship has weekly baptisms! its really hard but its possible here. Its so amazing to see the Lords work moving forward everyday. My recent convert sister Mylene is 23 and she told us yesterday that she wants to prepare to serve a mission!!! it was so cool :) I really hope she does. I will send the picture of our Family home evening last week. We have like 20 investigators there it was so much fun. So 2 weeks from today sister Ag leaves and i will have another companion. Im a little nervous but it will be good! Thanks for all the love and support i love hearing from everyone. Yes there was a big storm but it was during the night and i thought i was going to die! it seriously kept me up all night and i was so scared. but im still alive so were good! i love you all!
Love Sister Leifson :)
